USEFUL INFORMATION
What We Collect
When you plan a journey with Virgin Nepal Trek & Expedition, we collect the information necessary to deliver a seamless and personalised travel experience. This includes your name, email address, and phone or WhatsApp number so that we can communicate effectively before, during, and after your expedition. We also gather your travel preferences and booking details — such as your preferred trekking dates, accommodation choices, and activity interests — to tailor our services precisely to your needs. In cases where government authorisation or permits are required for high-altitude treks and restricted-area expeditions, we may additionally request your passport details, which are handled with the utmost care and used solely for official documentation purposes.
How We Use Your Information
The information you share with us is used exclusively to organise your trip and secure all required trekking permits and government clearances on your behalf. We use your contact details to communicate with you throughout every stage of your journey — from the initial planning and itinerary confirmation to real-time support during your trek. Your feedback and travel history also allow us to continuously improve our services and refine the guest experience, ensuring each expedition we deliver meets the highest standard of quality, safety, and personal care.
Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Virgin Nepal Trek & Expedition never sells, rents, or trades your personal data to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Your information is shared only when strictly necessary to fulfil your travel arrangements — specifically for processing government permits and official documentation, coordinating flight or hotel bookings that form part of your package, and facilitating insurance or emergency coordination should any situation arise during your trek. All data is stored securely and handled in strict accordance with our data protection obligations. You retain the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting our team directly.
Visa Information
Nepal Entry Requirements
Most international visitors require a visa to enter Nepal. Tourist visas are available on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and at major land border crossings. You can also apply in advance through the Nepal Department of Immigration online portal. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended departure date and carries at least two blank pages.
Trekking Permits
In addition to a standard tourist visa, trekkers venturing into national parks and conservation areas are required to hold specific trekking permits. The TIMS Card (Trekkers' Information Management System) is mandatory for most popular trekking routes. National Park entry permits — such as those for Sagarmatha (Everest), Langtang, or Annapurna — are obtained separately. Our team handles all permit applications on your behalf so your journey begins without complication.

Voice of the Himalayas -The world must listen
Voice of Himalayas: The Mountains Are Speaking — The World Must Listen
When you trek across high-altitude glaciers above 5,000 meters, you witness far more than just breathtaking snow-capped peaks. You witness the frontline of our planet's changing climate. As the "Third Pole," the Himalayas are not only the vital water towers of Asia but also the ultimate barometer for global environmental shifts.
This is why Virgin Nepal Trek & Expedition proudly leads "Voice of Himalayas"—a dedicated environmental awareness, conservation, and expedition-based initiative. We believe that true adventure is about more than just conquering summits; it is about protecting the landscapes we call home.
Our Mission: Amplifying the Himalayan Voice
"Voice of Himalayas" is built on a simple yet urgent mission: "The Himalayas are speaking — The World Must Listen." We bridge the gap between high-altitude exploration and environmental advocacy.
What We Do:
-
High-Altitude Exploration & Documentation: Leveraging our mountaineering expeditions to monitor and document real-time environmental changes, such as glacier retreat in high-altitude regions.
-
Climate Action & Storytelling: Launching awareness campaigns through visual storytelling and media production to highlight the urgent challenges facing the world's highest mountains.
-
Responsible Tourism: Promoting sustainable mountain tourism that minimizes environmental footprints and directly supports local mountain communities.
-
Global Collaboration: Engaging travelers, organizations, and industries worldwide to take meaningful action for a sustainable future.
Why Virgin Nepal is Driving This Movement
As a specialized, locally-rooted team operating out of Nepal, our connection to these mountains is absolute. The Himalayas shape our heritage, our livelihoods, and our deep-rooted respect for nature.
Through Virgin Nepal, we integrate professional mountaineering and trekking safety with environmental stewardship. Whether we are guiding travelers across rugged alpine passes or navigating complex high-altitude logistics, every journey is an opportunity to advocate for mountain conservation.
Join the Movement
The Himalayas are speaking, and the message requires a global audience. Whether you are an avid trekker, a nature lover, or a conservation partner, you can be part of the solution.
When you travel with Virgin Nepal Trek & Expedition, you are not just experiencing the mountains—you are helping to preserve them for generations to come.
